Getting started
What is Zapiens?
Zapiens is a learning platform that turns a topic or a document into lessons you can review, share and practice eight ways, with instant feedback.
Do I need an account?
To get started from here, create an account. With it you practice, create lessons, explore the library and save your progress.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Zapiens works in the browser at play.zapiens.one. If you prefer an app, it's on Google Play for Android and in beta for iPhone on TestFlight.
Learning
How do I practice a lesson?
Open the lesson and pick a way to practice: Review, Match, Wheel, Quiz, Repeat, Word search, Crossword or Anagram. Each answer tells you right away whether you got it, and at the end you see your result.
What happens with what I get wrong?
What you miss comes back sooner: when you save your progress, review shows you the cards you missed sooner.
Creating and teaching
How do I create a lesson?
Start from a topic or a document: the AI proposes the lesson and you review it, edit it and decide whether to share it. You can also build it by hand. Creating with AI uses credits.
What does the AI do?
It proposes a lesson from your topic or document. You review it and decide what stays.
Can I see my group's progress?
Not yet.
Account and platforms
Where can I use Zapiens?
In the browser at play.zapiens.one, on a computer or a phone. There's also an Android app on Google Play and an iPhone beta on TestFlight.
Which languages is Zapiens in?
The interface is complete in Spanish and English. We're working on more languages.
How do I change my email or password?
In the app, go to your profile or account settings. If you don't see the option, write to us and we'll help.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, from your account settings. If you have Pro, cancel it first. If you have questions, write to us.
Plans and payments
Is it free?
Practicing is free and the Base plan includes credits for creating. Pro is optional: see pricing.
What's a credit?
It's what the AI spends when it helps you create: generating cards uses 5 credits. The Base plan includes 20 a month, with a cap of 15 a day (UTC). Practicing doesn't use credits.
What does Pro include?
Creating with AI with no credit limit. It costs US$9 a month or US$90 a year. See pricing.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Yes, on the yearly plan: 7 days free if you start it from the app, on your plan screen. The monthly plan has no trial. Paying on this page doesn't include the trial.
How do I cancel Pro?
In the app: on your plan screen, open subscription management. There you can cancel, change your payment method and see your invoices. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
How do I pay for Pro?
By card, on Stripe. Choose Pro on this page while signed in on zapiens.one with the same account you use in the app. Pro turns on when the payment completes.

What do you do with my data?
We use it to run the service, improve the product and communicate with you. The details are in the Privacy notice.

What if something doesn't load?
Reload the page and check your connection. If it still doesn't work, write to us with the form below.
How do I report a bug?
